The terms that apply when you use our website, shop with us or book a reading.
Last updated: September 27, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of thesmallmediumatlarge.com, the website of The Small Medium at Large (“we”, “us”, “our”) and any purchase, booking or reservation you make with us. By using our website or services you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us. Payment is due at the time of your session and can be made with PayPal, by Interac e-Transfer to [email protected], or in person at the boutique. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may not be eligible for a refund.
Places at events and workshops are limited and reserved on a first-come basis. We may occasionally need to change or cancel an event; if we do, we will contact you and offer a transfer or refund. If you can no longer attend, let us know at least 48 hours before the event and we will transfer your place to a future event or refund you; within 48 hours, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
Please see our Refund and Returns Policy for full details on returns, exchanges and refunds. We ship across Canada and worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, and delivery times vary by destination.
Gift cards and reading gift certificates do not expire, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be replaced if lost.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
All content on this website – including text, images, logos, podcast episodes and videos – belongs to The Small Medium at Large or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website, products or services. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page. Questions? Contact us or email [email protected].
